Congratulations to Applicator of the Year 2022!

The 2022 Applicator of the year award was announced at the SCFAA summer convention.

This year’s winner is Fred Davis, Anderson, SC. Mr Davis has over twenty years of service and is employed by Smith Farm Supply, Anderson, SC. He understands the importance of customers and doing the best job possible. A man of high integrity and principal, he always prioritizes the customers best interest. When he’s not spreading, he stays busy lending a hand to others needing help or taking care of his own cattle farm.

Custom applicators in South Carolina spend hundreds of hours in the field every year, applying fertilizer and crop protection products on thousands of crop acres. This award showcases the hard work professional applicators put into caring for crops and customers, as well as their involvement in their communities. We are proud to recognize these outstanding people and feel they deserve all the thanks they can get.

There is no limit to the number of nominations a nominator may submit, however, a nominator may only submit one nomination for any one candidate. A nominator may not submit a nomination for himself/herself. Nominators must be members or employees of companies that are members of the SCFAA. Candidates must be an ag retailer operator that has the primary job of operating application equipment.
